A flash of fire
That warmed
Yet burned
So much to offer
So much he spurned
Most of those
Usual platitudes
Even rejecting
Best loved foods.
Fierce crusading
For what he believed
Generous sharing
What he received
Demanding that others
Share this creed.
That those who have
Help those in need.
